Ruth Arnold

Ruth Arnold is Executive Assistant to the Chair of the Academic Council, supporting Prof Sir Keith Burnett in his academic mentoring of the Schmidt Science Fellows and acting as Secretary to the Academic Council.

Ruth works for the Schmidt Science Fellows on a part-time basis in addition to her role as a Consultant in the Education and Charity Sectors. Prior to working with the Schmidt Science Fellows, Ruth was Director of Public Affairs at The University of Sheffield where she cofounded the #WeAreInternational campaign on behalf of international staff and students in the United Kingdom.
