We are excited to launch our Senior Fellows Council (SFC), a significant development in our continued mission to create Lifelong Community.

The SFC will help us shape all aspects of Senior Fellows programming and community development, ensuring we continue to support the evolving needs, career paths, and interests of our cohorts.

Comprising five Senior Fellows, the advisory group will act as a channel of ongoing dialogue with our wider Senior Fellows community.

Director of Fellowship Affairs and Lifelong Community Dr. Arielle Baker said: “Our goal is to continuously strengthen our community of Fellows, a community that is active, connected, and supportive, that fosters resilience and enables successful interdisciplinary careers.

“To achieve that, it is vital that our Senior Fellows themselves have a strong voice in shaping our work, and that is what the SFC has been designed to provide.”

The Senior Fellows Council members are:

  • Ina Anreiter (2019)
  • Anastasia Korolj (2021)
  • Kevin Ng (2022)
  • Solomon Oyakhire (2023)
  • Ethan Perets (2022)

Each will serve a time-limited term.

The SFC will input to a range of activities, from helping to shape engagement opportunities for the Senior Fellows community to professional development needs they wish to see addressed at our annual Summit.

The Senior Fellow Council representatives will also act as leaders and ambassadors for interdisciplinary science as part of our continued mission to grow a wider community of support.

The inception of the SFC reflects the growth of our Fellow community, which will exceed 200 in 2025.

The SFC builds upon the work of our excellent Cohort Leaders who each played an integral role in community development in our initial years and to whom we extend our gratitude.
