Each year we invite over 100 of the world’s top universities and institutes to nominate a small number of their most exceptional PhD students to apply to Schmidt Science Fellows.
Nominating partners
We are very grateful to our Nominating Partners for nominating their best candidates to our program. Our Selection Team aims to provide support with this process in the following ways:
- Ahead of applications opening, we invite our Nominating Partners to select and send us the details of their nominees.
- We deliver informational webinars for Nominating Partner representatives and prospective candidates to support the nomination process.
- Once applications are open, we communicate with our Nominating Partner contacts to provide updates on application deadlines and their nominated candidates’ applications.
